With the steel in place, siding and roofing was installed in addition to masonry (brick work). Other miscellaneous parts like the custom made marble slab prints for the entrance were also added.
After the foundation had been done, the entrance to the building was higher than the rough ground level. During this period, the entrance way to the building was dug and formed.
2ND ENTRANCE FOUNDATION
Most of this step consisted with setting up the steel and cement foundation to the entrance nearest to the fence along Lagrange Avenue.
During this period all garbage was disposed of, trees that were in the way were cut down and a fence outlining the land was put in place.
OCT 2010 - AUG 2011
MAIN STEEL STRUCTURE
At this stage the skeleton of the building was welded and bolted firmly to the foundation. The metal roofing was also completed at this stage.
Once the exterior was completed and resistant to the harsh winters, the interior heated flooring and metal stair structure were installed.
SITE GRADING & LEVELING
The ground level was raised and flattened to match the height of the entrance all around the site.
Minor water leaks have been found and repaired over time. The interior is all cleaned up and ready for the next final steps that will grant ISNH the certificate of occupancy.

CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
TO MOVE IN
In order to attain the certificate of occupancy the mosque requires an additional $2.5 million. This will allow us to complete all essential aspects of the facility and put the non essential items on hold until after occupancy. We welcome your support with monetary donations, material donations, volunteer labor, interest free loans, or worldwide fund raising in an effort to obtain certificate of occupancy by November 2019. Full completion needs an estimated $4 million.
Prophet Muhammad PBUH Narrated
“Among what continues to accrue for a believer of his good works after death are the following: knowledge that he learned and then imparted to others, a pious child whom he left behind, a copy of the Qur’ân that he bequeathed, a mosque that he built, a guest house he built for travelers, a river that he made to flow, and charity he spends from his wealth when he is in good health – all of this continues to avail him after his death.”
